He may have his mind focussed on the track when zipping through the Formula One circuit, but when it comes to this country, Force India racer Adrian Sutil is drawn to Bollywood because of its beautiful ladies. “I think the girls in the Indian film industry are very pretty, and I like pretty girls,” says the 28-year-old German, who was in the Capital recently to launch Kingfisher’s limited edition Force India products.
So, given a chance, would he like to work in a Hindi film? “When I was young, I always wanted to be an actor, but I think I would be more suitable to Hollywood than Bollywood. But if I do get an interesting offer here, I don’t mind taking it up. I find the song and dance routine in your movies quite interesting,” he says.
And which Indian diva would be he his choice for the leading lady? “I would love to work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because she is among the top-most actors here,” he says.
Sutil, who will represent his team at the Indian Grand Prix on October 30, is also a fan of actor Shah Rukh Khan. “I specially loved his performance in My Name is Khan, which was the last Hindi film I watched,” he says.
Since his association with Force India goes back to 2008, he has grown close to the country’s culture. “People here are very friendly, warm and always welcoming,” he says. As for exploring the country, Sutil says, “I want to see the beautiful countryside and the mountains.” And what are his expectations from the Indian Grand Prix? “Our team’s aim is always to make the best of the season and feature in the top 10,” he says.
