Actor Jackie Shroff’s 19-year-old son Tiger has bared all in a men’s magazine and revealed that he buffed up because he got pushed around as a kid.

The handsome teenager says rumours that he has signed up to debut in a remake of his father’s superhit, Hero, were not true but confessed that he will pursue acting as a career. “I have no plans for movies at this point. I’m still too young. As of now, I’m more an athlete than an actor. I will follow in my father’s footsteps when the time is right.”

Tiger, who is on the cover of Men’s Health’s February issue, says he is obsessed with fitness, a passion that took root because he was a puny kid who was bullied. “I was 5’3”, maybe shorter, and weighed just 35-40kg. Honestly, I was a pretty pathetic excuse for a 15-year-old. That’s when I discovered weight training, which gave me an edge in sports. Thanks to it, I’m a lot faster and stronger now,” said Tiger.

His idol is Bruce Lee. “I aspire to be 70 per cent of him someday. Only then, I will call myself truly fit.” Comparisons to his father are obvious. Says Tiger, “My dad is convinced he has a better physique than mine. My mother and I joke about it… He is naturally well-built considering he doesn’t work out that much. If my father took his training seriously, he’d still kick a lot of ass.”
