Kalki sidelined

Kalki Koechlin was sidelined on the sets of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

My dhobhi Safedi Lal is saying that Kalki Koechlin was sidelined on the sets of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She wanted to be a part of the Tomatina song that was being shot with the rest of the cast at the Spanish Tomato festival.

Director Zoya Akhtar couldn’t include her in the song but allowed her to come on the sets and watch it all from the side, without featuring her in a single frame. She was rather kind to even give Kalkiji a tomato to throw at one of the unit members. Now if only Anurag Kashyap was directing this film, the song would have been entirely about Kalki!
