Duchess of Cambridge Kate is planning a shopping spree to keep herself busy while her husband Prince William is on duty in the Falklands.
The trips could include jaunts to fashion centres Paris and Milan to snap up loads of chic outfits.
The 30-year-old duchess is desperate to fill the lonely hours during William’s six- week tour, which began on Thursday.
“The only way for her to cope while William’s away is to keep busy,” the Daily Star quoted an insider as saying.
“She’s going to shop big time and there’s talk about a trip to Paris to the fashion houses.
“Kate feels she has to specialise in British fashion but she’d love to go to Paris and Milan to see the fashions there,” the source added.
Kate also needs to stock up on new gear for the Diamond Jubilee tour with her husband later this year, taking in Malaysia, Singapore and the South Pacific.
She has become a style icon, just like mum-in-law Princess Diana, whose clothes were scrutinised by millions around the world.
Kate, voted Britain’s best-dressed woman, has already sparked a 1-billion-pound boom in sales, with copies of her outfits selling out in minutes.
