Glamour model Katie Price has claimed that she was raped by a "famous celebrity".
Price, who is divorcing singer Peter Andre, recently revealed she had been the victim of a serious sexual assault but had refused to give any details about the incident.
She has now confessed her assailant was someone in the public eye who Andre knows the identity of, OK magazine online reported.
"A famous celebrity raped me and Peter knows who it was. It was years ago, before I was with Pete, and my friends and family knew about it at the time," Price said.
The 31-year-old model had claimed that she had been raped "more than once" after defending new boyfriend Alex Reid against allegations that he starred in a movie which glorified sex attacks.
"I was appalled by the headlines claiming he'd taken part in something which glorifies rape. This is completely untrue. Rape is a subject very close to my own heart," Price had earlier said.
"I was raped when I was younger, more than once. Needless to say, I'd never be associated with anyone or anything so sick. I've never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by those accusations that I would not take a subject which affects many women seriously," Price added.
Following her revelation, Andre, 36, insisted that he didn't know about the incidents to which Price said, "I have no idea why he said he didn't know. He's not the Pete I knew anymore. He's being really cruel when he knows exactly who did it."
