Lohan’s representatives will send a cease and desist letter to the unnamed firm to clear up false reports that she will ring in 2012 at a massive bash on a cruise ship in UAE.

The actor’s spokesman Steve Honig insists that the story is false as Lohan plans to spend the new year in California. “Lindsay is not going to Dubai, nor had she ever considered doing so,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling Tmz.com.

“She will be spending New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles with a few close friends and family,” he said.
