A sunny Monday afternoon packed a star-studded surprise for the people of Mullanpur, near Chandigarh - Salman Khan walked into this sleepy village, clad in a black

, topped with a check kurta, sleeveless sweater and a loosely-tied muffler around his head.
But for his face, he closely resembled the onlookers who thronged the site to catch a glimpse of the superstar, who had come to shoot for his latest film from the Vipul Shah stable,
London Dreams
. After the bumper success of Singh Is Kinng, Shah has returned to locales in and around Chandigarh for his new venture.
Actor Ajay Devgan was with Salman on Monday’s shoot. In the scene filmed, Manoj Pahwa, a popular TV face who also appeared in
Singh Is Kinng
, was seen running an STD booth where Salman comes to call up Ajay, who lives in London.
The takes and retakes made it an eventful afternoon for the locals, who exchanged smiles and glances with Salman, while the actor generously waved and signed autographs for them.
Salman’s sister Alvira accompanied him on the sets; brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri was in town, too. The heroine of the film, Ghajini sensation Asin, was expected to soon join the cast and crew.
