Carey tumbled while she was belting out Make it happen at the Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix, but she managed to get back on her feet with some assistance, reports thesun.co.uk.

Despite the embarrassing moment, the pop star continued her performance and sang her other songs barefoot.

While going to her dressing room, she told everyone: "I did that on purpose."
