Thirty-two international and 15 Indian boat manufacturing companies are taking part in this year’s event. Some of the boats are also on display at an exhibition at Bandra-Kurla Complex.

About 1,000 people, a mix of businessmen and socialites attended Friday’s marina event, which, was inaugurated by Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, AVSM, Indian Coast Guard director general. But not a single celebrity was spotted.
So far, about 3,000 people have already visited the BKC event. There were no celebs though. Apparently high worth individuals had a private showing.
