Murder at Charlize Theron’s old home

The home where Hollywood star Charlize Theron’s mother had killed Theron’s father in self-defence in 1991, is at the centre of a new murder nvestigation.

The home where Hollywood star Charlize Theron’s mother had killed Theron’s father in self-defence in 1991, is at the centre of a new murder nvestigation. A murder was carried out last weekend at the property, which is the same house where Theron’s mother Gerda Maritz killed the Oscar winning actor’s father near Johannesburg, South Africa, reported Radar online.

Owner Barry Newland was killed at the house by a gang of five burglars, who pretended they were interested in buying a car at his home-based car sales business. A police spokesperson said that Newland suffocated after being bound and gagged with a plastic bag, and his body was also covered in cigarette burns.
