According to a recent news report, Dino Morea was known to be flirting with the female contestants of the show,
Khatron Ke Khiladi X 3
and girlfriend, designer Nandita Mahtani was planning to visit the sets to keep tabs on him. When asked, the actor denies the charges and says, “Nandita is extremely happy that I’m working here. I don’t understand where that report came from because she trusts me entirely. She doesn’t call me all the time to keep track of where I’m going. She’s been very accommodating. She trusts that I will not go astray.”
So, is she happy with the way the show has turned out, given that it hasn’t received too many great reviews? “Of course, Nandita is happy with my performance so far. I have done very well in most of my stunts. I didn’t want to disappoint myself because I was testing my patience and I didn’t want to break her hopes. She’s very ecstatic,” beams Morea.
Milind Soman and Manjot Singh, who were eliminated in the first two episodes, were brought back as wildcard entries. Morea was unaffected.
“I was competing with myself first. I wanted to know how much I could take. Today, I feel the show is more of an internal competition than external. It’s great that they were back for a second round. But I focussed more on my work than on anything else,” he retorts.

The actor has recently opened Barcode 53 in Mumbai. Since Morea has been involved with Crepe Station and other night spots, would he like to own a night spot in Rio De Janeiro, popular for its nightlife? “No way,” he smiles. “Rio is too far for me to monitor my business. I want to expand and have as many night spots and eating joints as I can, but not venture into places where I have no direct access. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the nightlife in the city. It has some cool joints too.”
Rumours are that he plans to tie the knot with Mahtani towards the end of this year. When asked, Morea puts it straight, “Everyone other than the two of us has been deciding on our marriage dates. We haven’t reached one yet. For now, I’d want to focus on a couple of movies that I’ve been offered. The roles are unlike anything I’ve done in the past. I want to give these films my best shot.”
