There was a bit of a nervous moment for Nicole Kidman on her wedding day when the actress found that her hand-made Balenciaga gown didn’t quite fit her svelte figure.

According to The Australian, the Oscar winning actress almost didn’t make it to the church on time, for her gown, a romantic, flowing ‘colour-of-chalk’ ensemble flown in from the US, where it was hand-made by celebrity fashion designer Balenciaga, had to be altered at the last minute by a local haute couture designer who was rushed to the scene, because it didn’t sit perfectly on the slim star.

Kidman and her country singer fiancé Keith Urban were married on the 25 June in a traditional Catholic ceremony in their native Australia.
