Sonakshi Sinha’s plans to visit Patna seem to be jinxed. Ever since she became a Bollywood star, she has not had the time to travel to the city. For the third time in a row, her plans to promote one of her films there (this time, it’s Joker) have been cancelled owing to other professional commitments.
Since her father Shatrughan Sinha hails from the city, the girl is believed to have a major fan following there. And that’s the reason that during Dabangg (2010), and again during Rowdy Rathore, there were initial discussions that she would travel to Bihar’s capital. She planned to go to the city with Joker, but now, that too isn’t working out.
“At the initial stages, when marketing plans were being chalked out, it was planned that Sona would travel to Patna to promote Joker. But as the makers were trying to finalise plans about 10 days ago, the idea was dropped as she is supposed to fly to Oman to shoot Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2(OUATIM),” says an insider from the organising team.
