In a bid to extend an olive branch to settle the custody case, Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has dropped domestic violence claims made by her against him.
According to TMZ, the former Russian model's lawyer Dan Horowitz told the court that his client is dropping her claim against her former boyfriend on grounds to change the custody order for their daughter Lucia.
The former couple has been locked in an ongoing custody dispute over the 18-month-old child, reports the Daily Mail.
According to reports, a protective order obtained by Grigorieva - prohibiting Gibson from contacting or harassing her - has also been terminated and she would like to communicate directly with him rather than through intermediaries.
It is unclear whether Grigorieva will still pursue a civil case against the actor.
