Actor Kalki Koechlin and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap may have parted ways after two years of marriage, but the couple has only good things to say about each other.
On a recent chat show, Kashyap, 41, had showered praise on Kalki, and the actor is pleased. Anurag had told the show’s host, filmmaker Karan Johar, “When I was with Kalki, I’d get up everyday and think how beautiful she was and how lucky I was.”
When we asked Kalki what she thought of the compliment, the 30-year-old actor said, “I did watch the episode and I found it very sweet. I have had so many people writing to me, tweeting to me asking me to get back (with Anurag). But no one knows what the issue is except the two of us and yet they (people) can’t stop talking about it, as if they know everything,” she says.

Kashyap and Kalki had announced their separation in November 2013 and had issued a statement that read, “Me and Kalki are separating, we are taking time off from each other to figure things out. We are not divorcing. We request the media to please respect our privacy and give us our space and not speculate. Thank you, Kalki and Anurag.”
