Actor Yash is busy promoting the release of his upcoming film, Geetu Mohandas’ Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. He attended Aap Ki Adalat as part of the promotions and spoke about his career and more. He also spoke about his decision not to attend the funeral of a fan who died by suicide a few years ago so as not to set a wrong precedent. Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, attended the funeral.
Yash on not attending fan’s funeral

On the show, Yash was asked about the death of his 25-year-old fan, Ramakrishna, from Kodidoddi village in Karnataka’s Mandya district. He died by suicide, and as per reports, had left behind a note expressing his wish for Yash and Siddaramaiah to attend his funeral. The politician obliged, but the actor didn’t.
The actor explained that he stayed away because he did not want to set a wrong precedent. He stated that he did not want other fans to believe that such an extreme measure would compel him to attend. He said, “I felt that if I did this, a lot of people might think that if they do something like this, I will come. That mindset itself is wrong. What will happen if I go to his funeral after he has died? And if I encourage that, it is not right.”

If somebody says, let me achieve something, and if I achieve it, Yash should come, I will try to go. If somebody achieves something and asks me to be there, I will try to go if I can.
