Artist Arshi Ahmed feels that art is the only medium that provides her the liberty to express her thirst for perfection. “For me, art is everything — my feelings, fears, hopes and desires.” She recently curated an art show, Romance with the Umbrellas that had the works of 93 artists from Delhi. She also created the ambience for the Surajkund Crafts Mela. Currently, Ahmed is exhibiting her works in Delhi, in the show titled, Towards Moksha. “The exhibition has been centralised around the theme of Moksha. I feel art works as a healer for both — the mind and soul — and I hope my paintings provide my viewers the much-needed peace and solace.” At her exhibition, Ahmed is also displaying a few art installations. All her paintings are acrylic on canvas. She is also working on a project with Pigments on Arabic and Persian Calligraphy.
