Preity’s moment of pride

Preity Zinta celebrated Independence Day in New York’s Time Square this year.

She was the grand marshal at the India Day parade held annually. Zinta’s Twitter timeline has been cluttered with her enthusiastic tweets about leading the parade. She said, “Felt so proud to be Indian at the Independence Day parade in NYC.

It was the biggest parade ever and the people were amazing,” as she posted her view of the crowd. Zinta, who’s been travelling around the USA and live tweeting her daily events, wore a pink salwar kameez designed by Manish Malhotra for the parade.
