Actor Russell Brand recently reduced a homeless man to tears by handing him a big amount of cash. The 36-year-old, who met the homeless guy on Hollywood Boulevard withdrew £400 from a cash point and handed it to him.

“Russ was hates causing anyone any grief and decided to do something charitable,” the Daily Star quoted a friend of Brand as saying. “He met the homeless guy just around the corner from the home he shared with Katy Perry. Russ was with his new girlfriend and they struck up a conversation with the guy. Instantly, he decided that he will get a roof over his head for a few nights, and hence gave him the money,” added the source.
