The Proposal star who is married to motorbike enthusiast Jesse James isn't impressed by extravagant gifts and would rather receive something heartfelt like a handwritten letter, reports imdb.com.

"I am lucky in that I don't expect much and I am always so pleased by just the smallest gesture. I am a notes and letters gal. I would much rather have someone write me something than buy something for me.

"I like the intentions rather than the gifts, so if someone writes me something or does something like that then I am very overwhelmed by that romance," she said.
