The organisers said the actor, who was one of the guests and a prime attraction at the event, had flown to Dubai but failed to make an appearance because she was “slightly unwell,” according to the Gulf News.

Sridevi’s husband and producer Boney Kapoor arrived solo on the red carpet after 11:30pm. When asked about Sridevi’s arrival, it was told that she was in the process of “getting ready,” and was unreachable on the phone. ANI
