The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials have lodged a police complaint against Kolkata Knight Riders IPL franchise team co-owner Shah Rukh Khan for his alleged misbehaviour on Wednesday night at the Wankhede Stadium and decided to ban him for life from entering the premises.

"He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match (between KKR and Mumbai Indians). We have decided to ban him for life from entering the stadium in future," said Savant, who alleged that the actor was in a totally inebriated state.

Shah Rukh Khan has usually received an almost unequivocal support on Twitter on previous spats he's run into (Remember the recent Shirish Kunder episode?).

But this time around the mega star isn't about to get off too easy it seemsat least on the social media platform. Twitter is abuzz with jokes on the SRK himself. Sample some we found really funny:

Shah Rukh Khan gestures towards a security guard blowing a whistle to direct children accompanying him off the playing field after the match.

Now Shah Rukh Khan will just fly in into the Wankhede stadium in his G.One suit #SRK

@ShivAroor: This MCA/Wankhede official on @TIMESNOW actually says, "And then Shah Rukh Khan started blowing a guard." (I hope it was consensual.)

@TheBarfigirl: So Shah Rukh Khan is banned in wankhede.Very good. He's crossed Salman Khan in these kind of activities!

@PartyRocker_M: I guess the guard at Wankhede saw 'Ra.One'.... And when he saw Shah Rukh Khan last night.... rest is history !!!

@WordsOfWacko: Shah Rukh Khan banned from entering the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. But no problems for him, he will watch the match in Dish TV. Kyunki SRK ke sar pe Dish Sawaar Hai :D

@Arjun024: May be when he was inebriated, Shah Rukh Khan imagined himself to be in "Don's Wear"; the mood was infact "Don't Swear".

@shadymumbai: @CricMS: Shah Rukh Khan can now enter United States of America, but not Wankhede Stadium....

@_fakeiplplayer: News emerges that Shah Rukh Khan didn't actually do any MC-BC. He was just saying MCA and BCCI.

@WorthItAllJay1D: Shah Rukh Khan wtf bannned... drunk... misbehaved.. so hard to belive tht
