Besides ruling the box office, King Khan also leads the Bollywood brigade in paying tax. The actor has paid Rs 27 crore as advance tax for the current financial year.

Shah Rukh Khan leads Bollywood in paying tax too. He has paid Rs 27 crore as advance tax for the current financial year (2007-2008) till December end. This is for the first three quarters of the current financial year.

Khan was also the highest taxpayer among actors during the last financial year (April 2006-March 2007) when he paid Rs 18 crore.
