Says Raell Padamsee, a trustee of CREATE, “Through this trust, we have been working with underprivileged children from various NGOs like Happy Home and School for the Blind, Jariwala Orphanage, Maharashtra Dyslexia Association, Society for the Education of the Crippled, amongst others.

But being that it is Children’s Day, we wanted to do something special, by showcasing the talents these children have, and awarding them for it.”

The workshop will be held on Thursday, at Holy Name High School. “We have invited children from the NGOs, to come and mix with children from other mainstream schools, and work together on various projects. The older children will be miming, dancing, and improvising together, while the younger children will be doing arts and crafts and costume making.

“Our special guest is most likely to be Juhi Chawala, she is one of our biggest supporters,” reveals Padamsee.
