As her actor-son Saif Ali Khan has announced publicly that he will marry Kareena Kapoor in 2012 on Koffee With Karan, we asked her about the same. To which Tagore says, “Whenever it happens we will let everyone know about it.” But at the same time, she hinted that Kareena has gelled well with the family when she reveals that a gift from Kareena is very close to her. “Kareena gifted me a pair of emerald earrings that I cherish a lot,” is what she had to say when asked which has been her favourite piece of diamond jewellery apart from her engagement ring of course.

Moving on, we spoke about her upcoming film Sangeeta Dutta’s Life Goes On in which she shares the screen with her daughter Soha Ali Khan for the first time, Tagore says, “It is a great movie. And it was great to work with Soha. The movie revolves around the relations between a grief stricken father and his three daughters. Soha being one of my daughters was not a gimmick but because it went well with the script.”
