Contactmusic.com reports that the film has been pushed back twice. The 11 actors are claiming that production personnel were aware that the World War II-era trucks that they were riding in were unsafe. Their lawyer Ariane Bluttner is insisting that Cruise, who is the executive producer of the movie, pay the amount for not ensuring the extras' safety.

She said: "Tom Cruise should have been more careful. It is obvious that being the head of a company you have to delegate some tasks. There are employees, colleagues or co-producers, to which you assign things to.

"Tom Cruise being an actor in the film, it was not his task to be at the set and to check personally whether all the security measures were taken. But according to US law, he can be held legally responsible for the security measures not having been in place."
