“We will be supplying caps, wigs, wristbands, headbands and bandanas among other things. This is the second year that we have been associated with the team,” says Vishal, adding that he will provide merchandise that will cater to almost 5000 people that are excpected to be crowding the stadiums.

Vishal has been in close touch with the team and its owners: “It is captained by Sachin Tendulkar and being a Mumbaikar it’s inevitable that I would root for Mumbai Indians. I have interacted with the team closely, am happy to say that it is a professionally run team that performs well on-field.”

Vishal’s company has sourced products for the team not just from across India, but even from China. The actor is currently on air in Sony’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and hints at a cross promotion on the channel as Set Max airs IPL matches exclusively.
