Life can be tough when your parents are treated as demi-gods and you are expected to carry forward their legacy. So how do you handle it? That’s what Fever 104 FM’s resident Bollywood RJ, Anuraag Pandey a.k.a. Picture Pandey, tried to find out recently. Here are excerpts from the interviews.

Abhishek Bachchan
“It’s got to do with passion and love for their art,” Abhishek said. “They both come across as very normal, simple human beings with basic, everyday insecurities. Sachin thinks about his game and the shots he will play while on the pitch. The same way, Amitabh Bachchan thinks about how he will improve the shots that he gave the previous day. Even today, after 40 years, he gets nervous before shots, thinking about how he will deliver the take. And there I am, lazing around. I have to say that the passion is just unmatchable and it rubs off.”

Sanjay Dutt
“I used to accompany dad on shoots as a kid and the production people used to call me Sanju baba,” said Sanjay. “The name has stuck. I guess there’s a lot of love and affection attached to it. I like sitting with the workers, spot guys and light wallas, sharing their chai and having meals with them, so I guess that is why the production guys have a certain fondness for me!”

Listen to all these interviews as well as others with Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Lucky Ali today at 10 am, on Fever 104 FM.
