She was there to film her new reality TV show The Price of Beauty when a strong earthquake struck Tsuruga Bay, which is southwest of Tokyo, in the early hours of Tuesday morning. It was measured 6.6 on the Richter scale, reports femalefirst.co.uk

"I thought I was hallucinating. I have never felt anything like this in my life," Simpson wrote on her Twitter.

The earthquake caused no damage, but a tsunami warning has been issued for the Indian Ocean after earthquakes struck.
