If you want to make a statement, go for bold pieces. Must-haves are a long gold chain, a pearl string and a kundan necklace," says jewellery designer Sumit Sawhney.

If you thought it's only for the ladies, think again. "We have a tradition of ornaments from the time of the maharajas. With Indian wear, it looks good. But a lot depends on the personality of the person. Not every one can carry it," says fashion designer Gaurav Gupta. So, give your wardrobe a break and let your neck do all the talking!
