There was plenty of sheen in store at the fourth day of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week at Mumbai on Monday. Those who love sheen, loved it even more at the close of the show. Vinod Nair tells more.

There was plenty of sheen in store at the fourth day of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week at Mumbai on Monday. Those who love sheen, loved it even more at the close of the show.



Designer Neeta Lulla’s latest showcased a riot of colours and embellishments that dazzled through the entire collection. The creations were extremely festive in nature and had all the elements that a bride would want to have.

At the next showing, the designer couple Shane and Falguni Peacock laid out a range of bridal wear that had elements from subtle palette of champagne gold with matching work on its surface, to traces of brighter colours and contrasting embroidery.



While the silhouettes were essentially Indian, the appeal was international. Clean looks coupled with the feel of festivity were enough to make their collection a hit on the runway.
