Are your new shoes giving you trouble or making you uncomfortable because its too tight. Find out the easy techniques for stretching your shoes.

1. Wear them often: Put on the new shoes and move around in them at home off and on for a few days. Try this technique if the shoes are a little tight and need slight stretching.

2. Freeze them: Fill two sandwich bags or small plastic bags one-third with water, and place inside the shoe to fit the inner space completely. Place the shoe in the freezer and leave overnight. The bag will turn to ice and expand the shoe. Use this technique only for water-proof shoes. Repeat the technique if needed.

Heels3. Devote time: Shoes, like clothes, are made to approximate size and shape. So, wearing the shoe regularly, and for longer durations, is the most effective method for stretching it. Purchase your shoes well in advance of a big event, for maximum comfort.

4. Know the dynamics: Keep in mind, real leather can sustain more stretching than plastics and fabric shoes.
