Known for her stylish wardrobe, Australian singer Dannii Minogue says she has made too many fashion mistakes to be a style icon.
The 40-year-old star, who wins praise for her outfit choices, said she hasn't always known what suits her and what clothes she feels comfortable in, Contactmusic reported.
"Most of the outfits are fashion mistakes. I wasn't born knowing what suits me. You go with trends because you think it's 'in', so time has been a great thing for me to work out what works.
"I never see myself as a style icon. For me, a style icon is someone who's always got it right. I don't feel that's me. But I'm starting to pull it together and fee; more confident with it," Minnogue said.
The singer, who has 16-month-old son Ethan with partner Kris Smith, also says she can not bring herself to throw away her old clothes and has garments stored in several different places as she has run out of space in her own home.
