Murder 2 stunner Jacqueline Fernandez is set to do in Sri Lanka what another ex-pageant winner, Sushmita Sen is doing in India. Jackie will help groom upcoming beauty queens from her homeland for global competitions. For the uninitiated, Sush runs the I Am She project, a platform to train Indian beauties for the Miss Universe pageant, which was recently concluded in the city.
“My role will be to polish the personalities of Miss Sri Lanka for global beauty pageants and ultimately, create an international model,” says Jackie, who has joined hands with an event and image management company, Image Bay that will launch a modelling school in the island nation.
Jackie, for those who came in late, was crowned Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. Later, she went on to represent her nation at the Miss Universe pageant too. “I have always wanted to help bolster Sri Lanka’s glamour industry. And since I have the experience of participating in a Miss Universe pageant, I hope to be able to counsel other girls correctly because I was an absolute greenhorn during the Miss Universe pageant in 2006,” she says.
These days though, Jackie is making more news for her break-ups and love tales. She apparently dumped her boyfriend of two years, Sheikh Hassan Bin Rashid Al Khalifa, a Bahraini prince before hooking up with director Sajid Khan, who she is working with in his upcoming sequel Housefull 2.
“I feel, going into that zone is completely irrelevant. I would never discuss my personal life publicly. My personal space is strictly confidential and I won’t be comfortable speaking about it,” says Jackie, claiming that she has never commented on talks of her affair with the prince.
Meanwhile, the actor is also excited with the success of her last, Murder 2. “I’m happy for myself because it’s my first hit. I’m also elated for the entire crew, especially director Mohit Suri. Everyone put in a lot of hard work,” she says. Currently, she also has Bhatts’ Raaz 3 in her kitty. About the third part of the successful series, she says, “I will start the film next year. Since it’s going to be in 3D, there will be loads of pre-production work. I’ll also have to undergo some training. It’s going to be my most difficult film.”
