Marie Antoinette is continuing to prove a source of fashion inspiration this season, with Australian actor Mia Wasikowska doing her best impression of the famed French queen in the latest Miu Miu video campaign.
The technicolor pop art-influenced ad, sees Wasikowska showcasing the Spring/Summer 2012 offerings of the Italian fashion house including an array of colorful oversized cameo accessories.
It comes hot on the heels of Dior's latest fashion film, Secret Garden - Versailles, which sees models including Daria Strokus, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju taking over France's Château de Versailles, where Antoinette of course once lived.
Meanwhile, expect Antoinette-style grandiose wigs and corseted gowns at Chanel's upcoming Croisière presentation at the castle on May 14.
