Designers Nitin Bal Chauhan and Samant Chauhan gave a solid opening to this grand fashion fiesta. High on creativity and style, both the shows left the audience spell bound.

Designer Nitin Bal Chauhan opened the show with an AV presentation. Skinny models with interesting head gears were clad in short dresses, tunics, pencil skirts walked the ramp wearing shirts with interesting collars, evening gowns, jackets, cigarette pants and printed dresses.

Nitin experimented with light and dark shades of black and grey. The design element was given through clean cuts and pleated patches of light shades.

The colour element was visible only in belts.

Designer Samant Chauhan presented a collection that has its inspiration in nature. The show was based on the silk industry. All the beige attires in hand-woven silk were given a different look with crinkled effect and different weaving.

Samant’s collection comprised structured jackets with embroidery at the back, cigarette pants, jodhpuris, dhotis, short dresses worn with jackets and angarakha style long kurtas for men with skinny pants.

Let’s see what’s there in the store at WIFW.
