Delhi based gang involved in 49 theft cases busted in Gurgaon, 4 arrested

Police have recovered one iPad, two hard disks and several other electrical gadgets from their possession.

Police claimed to have solved 49 cases of stealing bags, laptops, mobiles from parked cars and arrested four people who were involved in these cases, registered at different police stations in the city.

The accused were identified as Amar, Vishal, Pawan Naidu and Anil residents of Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi.

Police suspects that they belong to a larger gang based out of Madangir in New Delhi as all the stolen items were disposed off in that area.

The accused confessed to stealing several laptops, mobile phones and other electronic devices kept in the car after breaking the window glass panes.

Police have recovered one iPad, two hard disks and several other electrical gadgets from their possession.

The crime units were deployed at several places and were looking for the gang members for last one month and finally, on August 8, they caught hold of the four accused during the night patrolling.

The crime team officials spotted them peeping into the parked cars and fell suspicious of their activities.

The accused have confessed their crime where they have broken glass windows of 50 cars in the city. Though, the police are suspecting they are involved in more such criminal cases.

According to the police, Pawan Naidu is also declared proclaimed offender by the Sadar police station and is a history sheeter.

The accused used to sell laptops to another person in Madangir, Delhi and have disclosed two more names who were part of their gang. Police is conducting raids to arrest another two and are hopeful of recovering laptops from their possession
