A man who had been out of prison on parole on Sunday was slaughtered with sharp edged weapons by four persons in what seems to be a case of old rivalry near Khentawas village in Pataudi block, 25 kilometres from Gurgaon.

The police said the deceased, indentified as Yogesh Yadav, 30, son of Daleep Singh, was serving a murder sentence. The victim was waylaid by four youths around 8pm while he was on his bike and killed him using sharp weapons.
Yogesh was on his way to Khentawas from Khalilpur when the four accused, who were in a car, hit him. Once the victim fell down, they attacked and killed him.
Yogesh was involved in the murder of a youth named Rahul and was serving the sentence for that crime. The victim, who is a resident of Khalilpur village, owns land in Khentawas.
