The police said two men on a motorcycle knocked at the car window and told the driver that something had fallen from the car. The victim, Meenu Arora, and the driver came out to check but could not find anything. After five minutes two men knocked at the glass window once again. Arora stepped out of the car, followed by her driver. At this point of time, one of the gang members opened the side door and fled with the bag.
In another incident, Ram Shankar, a resident of Sector 5, alleged that two unidentified riders on a motorbike sped away after snatching his mobile phone. In the third incident, two motorcycle-borne riders snatched an executive’s mobile in Udyog Vihar Phase-4.
The police have registered cases under Section 379 of IPC against unidentified persons.
