Remember the American TV series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo? Even better the desi reality show the Biggest Loser Jeetega? While Honey Boo Boo's family did not inspire us much, the Indian reality show sure did.

But such inspirations only last a few months before the so called 'lazy fitness buffs' start going back to their normal routine. To get you moving, we bring you this year's celebrity fitness buffs who inspired all. The best part is, you won't feel the need to look at those skinny runaway models anymore!

Sonakshi Sinha
Get this! Before Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in Dabangg, she weighed a whopping 90 kg. A jolt from her mentor (Salman Khan) really inspired her to lose weight and Sonakshi dropped 30 kg. Yet, she wasn't spared the jibes and people started calling her a 'fat cow' on social media platforms.

After years of silence, 2014 turned out to be quite a cathartic year for the beauty when she retaliated about the sick obsession people have with size-zero figures.

In October she shared an photo of a skeleton on Instagram and added: To all those who keep commenting on my weight, whether its a full picture, or a close up where you cant see jack. Take a good look at this picture. Now get this: 1) this aint ever gonna be me 2) get over it. 3) i wish u could see which finger i hold up for shallow and idiotic people like yourself.

The tables turned when Sonakshi's song Radha Nachegi from Tevar was out and she got a thumbs up from the audience for her svelte figure. Guess, who had the last laugh?

Barack Obama

Now, the Obama's have always been considered the first couple of fitness. It's no surprise that the President despite his hectic schedule manages to squeeze in 45 minutes of exercise six days a week and this has motivated a million of Americans to get moving. He has got a number of inspiring stories.

One of them being in 2012, ahead of the G8 summit when Barack Obama and David Cameron engaged in a bout of treadmill diplomacy at the US President's Camp David retreat in Maryland.

Then, earlier this year in June a candid workout video of Obama in a 5-star hotel gym in Warsaw, Poland went viral. He was seen pumping iron. Way to go!

Kim Kardashian

She must have been the butt of jokes among internet trolls, but we give this to Kim for shedding off the post-pregnancy weight in 11 months.

After giving birth to North West, Kim went into hiding and even went ahead to say that getting back into shape was the greatest challenge of her life. She lost 23 kg and reportedly lost a further 2 kg in the lead up to her wedding.

The reality star said that she felt bullied during her pregnancy and that no women should have to deal with that. In November she angrily hit back at tabloid reports on how she had lost weight the unnatural way, tweeting: I am very frustrated today seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight!.

Adding: This is FALSE. I worked so hard to train myself to eat right & healthy. I work out so hard & this was such a challenge for me but I did it!.

Kim Kardashian said the Atkins diet really helped her drop a ton of weight.

Graham Elliot

He is a known face on TV. MasterChef U.S. judge Graham Elliot earlier this year during spring revealed his massive 68 kg weight-loss on Instagram. According to People, Elliot, 37, underwent a sleeve gastrectomy after nearly hitting 181 kg.

In May this year he ran his first 10k. He posted a photo of himself on Instagram saying: Celebrating the premier of #MasterChef by running my first #10K.

After the race the celebrity star tweeted: Heartfelt thanks to everyone for the kind comments regarding my weight loss and the support on my journey to get healthy!

Virat Kohli

At 26, Virat Kohli has already achieved more than most cricketers do in their entire career. Talent coupled with that swagger has turned him into one of the best ODI players in the world, not to forget one of the most influential celebs in India.

What sets this guy apart is his ability to chase huge scores with staggering ease without even batting an eye. In the history of the game he has the highest conversion rate of 50s into 100s and is the joint fastest with Viv Richards to reach 5,000 runs. He prefers his work to do the talking for him.

This year Kohli, even received the Man of the Tournament during the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.

Reportedly, the Delhi boy is a fitness and nutrition fanatic and currently, is on a diet of lamb, fish and salads and practices 2-3 hours a day. Need more inspiration?

Zach Galifianakis
You got to admit it, The Hangover wouldn't have been as much fun without actor Zach Galifianakis.

In October, the funny man showed up at the screening of his film Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance in New York looking sexy and a 23 kg lighter.

The star hasn't talked much about his weight loss, but in an interview with Chicago film critic and entertainment reporter Dean Richards joked about his slimmer frame saying: Being light is fun. I can go up two flights of steps now, and only need my inhaler twice.

Chris Pratt

What Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt did in 6 months is pretty amazing. From being fat and sloppy he went to being lean and chiseled.

The Star Lord was heard saying: Six months seems like a long time unless you're looking backwards… all you have to do is just a few things everyday and remain consistent, and time will fly just as fast as it flies if you're working hard or not. If you just cut the crap out of your diet, and if you spend an hour a day doing something physical that will make you sweat, six months will pass by, you will feel better mentally, physically, spiritually - it all is tied together.

He reportedly lost 27 kg of flab for solid muscle.

Jessica Simpson

After her second pregnancy 34-year-old fashion designer Jessica Simpson revealed her wish to weigh no more than 42 kg. Her hefty weight gain during her first pregnancy was a hot topic in the tabloids and the erstwhile singer received a lot of flak for it.

Earlier this year the former-singer wowed us with her 27 kg weight loss. Her trick was to get 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day.

In March Jessica announced her goal weight on Twitter: "...AND a white T-shirt!!#goalreached thx @weightwatchers."

Christina Aguilera
On January 8 Christina Aguilera showed off her curves at the People's Choice Award's opening skit in a sparkly waitress outfit. The singer rubbished rumours of liposuction saying that she worked hard to shed those 15 kg she put on during pregnancy with a strict diet consuming only around 1,600 calories a day.

Lots of yoga, meditation, reiki, treadmill and boxing did the trick for the bombshell.

Rosie O'Donnell

Comedian and co-host of The View Rosie O'Donnell showed off her massive transformation during the 18thseason premiere of the talk show. Rosie lost 23 kg and she divulged that undergoing the vertical gastric sleeve procedure made all the difference.

Although we are not a big fan of how she shed the kilos, let's give it to her that she needed it after her heart attack two years back.

Rosie tweeted: "Almost 50 lbs off- I can see it now."
