I am 19 years old and weigh 68kgs. I have been exercising for the past one month and lost almost 7 kg but want to lose more. Please suggest exercises I can do at home to get rid of tummy fat.
Your intent to lose weight is the most important issue. It is best you buy an exercise apparatus (treadmill, exercise bicycle, vertical stepper). You can plan exercise schedules on these apparatus properly (45 minutes treadmill at an average speed of 6 km/h without incline will make you burn nearly 250 Kcal).
I am a 22 years, 5 feet 11 inches and weigh 63kgs. I started gyming about a month ago. Can you suggest some diet or yoga postures that will help me lose weight faster?
For your height, your weight is not excessive. If you are active, you will need a nearly 1,800-calorie diet to maintain your weight. This diet could be designed depending your body fat profile, your family history and blood reports, if any. For young people like you, aerobic exercise is more important physically than yoga, and you could mix your jogging, weight training and yoga for overall benefit.
I want to know about some exercises for daily use that can be done at home and are effective.
If you don't have any medical problem, and you are in age range of 30-50 years, you could do the following at home.
1. Stretching exercises on a simple mat. These could involve exercises for upper limbs, legs, abdomen and back
2. Resistance exercises of hands and feet using small weight (range 1-5 kg). Ten to thirty repetitions could be done of each muscle group till fatigue.
