Beyonce has tried her hand at drama, comedy, and musicals, and now she’s all set to star in her first animated feature.

The singer-actress will lend her voice to the 3D CG-animated film Epic.
According to Deadline, the singer will play Queen Tara in 20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios’ production, US magazine reported.
The companies have earlier rolled out animated flicks like Ice Age and Rio.
Apart from the 30-year-old singer, the movie boasts of a star-studded cast.
Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and Steven Tyler have all reportedly signed on to appear in the flick, which is scheduled for release in May 2013.
This will be Beyonce''s first film role following birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, in January.
The former Destiny Child star is also slated to star in Clint Eastwood’s remake of A Star Is Born.
