After an icy detour in Austria, it's sun-drenched Rome for the Spectre crew.
Daniel Craig and his co-star Monica Bellucci posed on Rome's Capitol Hill ahead of the next phase of shooting that begins early next month.
The fourth James Bond film in the Daniel Craig series seems to be on marketing overdrive, following just last week's unveiling of the first official image.
Reports suggest that an elaborate action scene has been planned for the 5-week shoot in the Italian capital. A chase will be filmed using inventive drone shots by Interstellar cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. It will end with Bond's car taking a plunge into the Tiber and him being rescued by helicopter.
Local landmarks like the Ponte Sisto Bridge and the Piazza Navona will be featured along with the city's many cobblestoned paths and alleys. The inclusion of a Fiat 500 will complete the quintessential Italian experience for the Bond crew.
Spectre is shaping up to be a visually stunning movie in the careful hands of returning director Sam Mendes and DP Hoyte van Hoytema. Keeping in tradition with the classic Bonds, Spectre is the globe-trotting adventure we all want to see, especially after Skyfall arguably being the best entry in the decades-old spy franchise.
The film stars Daniel Craig in his fourth outing as James Bond with Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, Christophe Waltz, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, among others.
Spectre is all set for a November 6, 2015 release.
