All Danny Boyle fans listen up! The first look of Danny Boyle's much anticipated follow up to his academy award winning Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours is now available through a teaser trailer. The trailer of the upcoming movie makes reference to his previous works such as Sunshine, The Beach and of course Slumdog Millionaire before getting down with business.



The film is based on a true story of real-life mountaineer Aron Ralston and his brush with death. The climber cuts the lower half of his right hand to free himself from a fallen boulder. The film narrates his journey and how he recalls friends, lovers, family, and the two hikers he met before his accident.

Actor James Franco is playing the role of the mountaineer. The trailer highlights Franco exploring the canyon with great zest. The video follows him as he meets two girls before the adventure and ends with how he gets stuck in a life threatening situation in the canyon.



Writer Simon Beaufoy of Slumdog fame is back as the script writer for this film as well. Boyle will direct the film.

The film will hit selected U.S. theaters on November 5.
