Hollywood stars have been uploading videos of themselves doing 22 pushups, as part of a new viral trend — the 22 Push Up Challenge.
Remember the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Dizzy Goal challenge that took social media by storm? Here’s a new one: #22 Pushup Challenge has been trending for days, and Hollywood stars are urging everyone to complete 22 pushups. Why so? To raise awareness about the high rate of suicides among US military veterans, and the conditions they face.

The number 22 because 22 military personnel reportedly commit suicide daily. And just like the last two viral campaigns, celebs have taken a liking for this challenge, too. The rule is the same — complete the challenge, and dare others to do the same. Popular names who have been there, done that include actors John Krasinski, Scott Eastwood, Chris Pratt, Charlie Hunnam and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
