Louis C.K. joins Blanchett and Sarsgaard in Woody Allen film

Voted the Webby Person of the Year, comedian and actor Louis C.K. has been cast to join Woody Allen's next, as-yet-untitled comedy, the director announced on May 4.
The all-star cast includes Cate Blanchett (Robin Hood), Peter Sarsgaard (Knight and Day), Michael Emerson (Lost), and Alec Baldwin (To Rome With Love).
Comic Andrew Dice Clay is also on board along with Bobby Cannavale (The Other Guys). The film is slated to shoot in New York and San Francisco this summer, according to Variety.
Meanwhile, Allen's To Rome With Love opens the Los Angeles Film Festival and releases in North America on June 22.
Blanchett will next be seen in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit this December. She also costars with Ryan Gosling, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale in Terrence Malick's Lawless.
Baldwin will appear in Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise and Russell Brand, opening this month.
Sarsgaard stars in Lovelace with Amanda Seyfried and James Franco as the husband of porn star Linda Lovelace and in Robot & Frank with Frank Langella and Liv Tyler, releasing this fall.
