Hollywood actor Elijah Wood’s maiden India tour in September has already created a lot of buzz. Now, apparently, the actor-turned-DJ, who is set to perform in three cities — Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad — has expressed his desire to wear a traditional kurta-pajama during his stay in the country.

“A renowned tailor from Lucknow named Salludin will be flown to Mumbai, and a custom-made outfit will be readied for Elijah. The clothes will have elaborate zardosi work on them,” says a source from the team that is managing his India visit.

“We will be giving Elijah the look and feel of the country. Since this is his maiden trip to India, we want him to experience the culture of the country in every way possible,” says the spokesperson of the organising team.
