Deadline.com has revealed that Christopher Nolan, the British director behind Memento and The Dark Knight Rises, has set his heart on Matthew McConaughey as the lead for his next movie.
Killer Joe and Magic Mike star Matthew McConaughey has apparently been offered the part of Cooper, the hero of the Insterstellar space odyssey.
This science-fiction movie will explore the controversial wormhole theory according to which black holes are really interconnected portals within the universe that could lead to parallel dimensions.
Interstellar will be released in North America on November 7, 2014.
