Perfect couple? Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel look amazing in Indian clothes
Deepika Padukone’s chemistry with Vin Diesel is going to be something else going by this picture of the two dressed in traditional Indian clothes shared by designer Sabyasachi.
If the promotional material for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is any indication, Deepika Padukone’s chemistry with Vin Diesel is going to be something else. Just a few days after they shared a video in which she was teaching Diesel Hindi, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee on Monday shared a picture of the two dressed in traditional Indian attire.
We can’t confirm if this is a still from the film or if their characters will ever wear these clothes in it, since they never shot in India and Deepika’s character is called Serena Unger (not a very Indian name). But what we do know is that Deepika gifted Diesel and her director DJ Caruso sherwanis and juttis in May this year.
Diesel, however, looks like the perfect Indian groom in this picture, and unless Sabyasachi has accidentally spoiled a major plot twist from the film in which Deepika and Vin get married and jet-ski into the sunset, it’s fair to assume that this is just a candid shot.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is out February 17 and also features Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Donnie Yen and Samuel L Jackson.
