Ranveer Singh hosted a special screening of the superhero film, Deadpool 2 earlier this week. Ranveer is voicing the lead character in the hugely anticipated movie, featuring Ryan Reynolds in the main role. Pictures from the screening were later shared online.
The screening, held in Mumbai, was also attended by Ranveer’s parents and sister. The actor wore a white t-shirt Deadpool printed on it, along with a rather colourful Hindi word those familiar with Jackie Shroff’s viral outtakes video would understand. YouTuber Bhuvan Bam will voice Deadpool’s sidekick, the cabbie Dopinder.
Deadpool 2 is the sequel to the hugely successful Deadpool, which finished its run as the most successful R-rated film of all time with a gross of close to $800 million worldwide. In the pictures, Ranveer was up to his usual antics, jumping about with a couple of guys in Deadpool costumes.
Reynolds has been on a promotional spree for Deadpool 2 - the marketing was considered to be a major ingredient for the first film’s success. The actor appeared in a music video with Celine Dion and performed karaoke on a Korean game show.
